Support Wanaka AFC & Wastebusters Every Bite!

Wānaka AFC is stoked to be the recipient of Wastebusters’ Every Bite programme ticket sales! 

This is an awesome opportunity for you and your whānau to get behind the club, and show your support for us and an amazing local organisation doing epic work in our community!

Join their food appreciation programme for two in-person events, and some dedicated tasks for you to action at home during the four weeks. It’s low key, with easy achievable goals that will result in food waste reduction (and save you money).

What to expect:

• Join us and local chef and zero waste champion, Evelyn Vallillee, on May 1st 6pm, at the Lake Wānaka centre to learn practical tips to keep on top of your grocery shop with minimal waste (there’ll be tasty kai to eat too)
• Engage in one or all of our food appreciation tasks during the four weeks: track your food waste, make an ‘eat now shelf’, create something new with your leftovers
• Join the conversation on our dedicated Facebook group (or e-mail if you are not on FB) , and share ideas and learnings with other participants
• Meet back with us on May 23rd 6pm, at the Lake Wānaka Centre to have a kōrero about your journey
